One noteworthy partnership is with the University of Newcastle, where the team is leveraging cutting-edge pyrometallurgy and hydrometallurgy processes. The primary goal of this collaboration is to pioneer proprietary battery chemical extraction technology and implement solutions that significantly reduce the impact of hazardous battery waste in Australia. The ultimate aim is to achieve an impressive 95% or higher recovery rate of crucial battery metals through an innovative combination of mechanical shredding and chemical engineering processes.

Joe is also a distinguished senior executive in LCC Asia Pacific's investment banking team, with expertise in energy transition capital markets and advancements within the battery industry. Throughout his tenure, Joe has provided valuable financial advice and strategic growth execution for numerous battery technology firms.
